Reverse Osmosis Water Filtration Systems in Dallas-Fort Worth TX

Reverse Osmosis filtration is the most effective way to purify drinking water to the highest levels.  Reverse Osmosis filtration is one of the primary processes major bottlers use to purify bottle water including brands like… Dasani, Aquafina, Nestle, Deja Blue and many others.

What is the difference between reverse omosis systems large bottlers use compared to what Water Event installs in homes and businesses? The answer may surprise you!!! NOTHING .. other than the volume of water produced and the physical size of the equipment.  A home unit fits very easily under most any kitchen sink with plenty of room to spare.

WHAT IS REVERSE OSMOSIS?  Let’s start with the definition of each word.

Reverse– To change direction from natural course

Osmosis– The tendency of water to diffuse from a region of low concentration to a higher concentration across a semi-permeable membrane.

So in simplistic terms, Reverse Osmosis changes the direction of the diffusion process to separate water containing a high concentration of dissolved solids (concentrate) to a lower concentration (the permeate) across the same semi-permeable membrane.  In most reverse osmosis processes, the in-coming water (the concentrate) is “pre-filtered” before reaching the membrane to eliminate large particles, metals, dirt, and taste and odor causing chemicals .  After pre-filtration, the water flows to the reverse osmosis “membrane” where contaminants much smaller than the naked eye can see are stripped from the solution.  Utilizing a principle known as “osmotic pressure”, the water molecule is forced through membrane layers to trap everything from water that’s not water and send it to drain in an efficient and “self-cleaning” action.  The water that diffuses through the membrane is considered highly purified and flows to a storage tank for your on-demand usage.

WHAT IS A MEMBRANE? A membrane is a semi-permeable material that contains millions of microscopic pores.  When wound in tight layers, the membrane separates everything from water that’s NOT water.  Only a tiny H2O molecule can pass through the membrane, leaving contaminants such as lead, mercury, arsenic, bacteria, salts and many other dissolved constituents behind.  Our own bodies contain many semi-permeable membranes that do much the same job….”so why be a filter when you can use a filter”???

Our company provides Reverse Osmosis Systems for use in homes and in the workplace. An unlimited supply of purified water can be yours for less than $1.00 per day…cheaper than one 16 oz bottle of water from retail stores.
